The Isiac Knot

My research into ancient goddess cultures introduced me to many great works of non-fiction, most of which line the shelves of university libraries. That observation led me to choose historical fiction as the genre that would best allow me to capture a glimpse of the divine feminine through the eyes of a 20th century feminist. If you follow her, she’ll transport you back to dynastic Egypt; to a time when women and goddesses were revered; to a time when what we now know as the hotbed of the Middle East was only beginning to succumb to the effects of patriarchal power struggles.
